It’s rigged.
Let’s play!
The game you’ve been practicing for your whole life.
First a meme
Then a coin
Now PIDG controls the economy
You’ll laugh. (And you’ll recognize yourself.)
A Strategic board game of collapsing markets
and dreams of AI utopia.
PIDG is a strategic dice-rolling
board game for 2–6 players.
Fast, chaotic, and sharply familiar.
Scan the headlines. Adjust your plans accordingly.
Roll. The market is outside your control.
Gamble. It's always an option.
Sacrifice for the table. It costs you, but that's the point.
Sabotage your opponents. Finally.
All in the pursuit of PIDGY coins.
Playtime: 30–60 minutes
Ages: 14+ (Hits hardest for anyone who's been out in it.)
Players: 2–6
Genre: Economic satire / social strategy
"Part of the laughter was because of how close to home things hit us."
— Cynthia, Bend OR — Playtester
"I carry PIDG with me everywhere I go. It's a great game to whip out when you're hanging with friends to get the laughs going."
Back the Kickstarter
Why?
First: because it’s a genuinely fun game.
PIDG has been playtested, balanced, and refined through countless iterations (and the occasional kitchen-table argument with my veteran game designer husband).
There’s just enough luck to keep casual players from getting overwhelmed, and just enough strategy to keep tacticians hooked. You could technically gamble your way through and win, but it’s risky. That’s part of the fun.
Second: because it’s funny.
You’ll chuckle with recognition at the absurdity.
Third: because it’s a conversation starter.
PIDG turns the chaos of modern economics into something you can actually play with. It’s the system on a board.
And finally: because it’s made to be played together.
PIDG is built for mixed groups. It’s easy enough to catch onto in minutes, but it hides surprising strategic depth for those who love to scheme.
Help us build momentum and get the game made and on your table.
The Story of PIDG
The world of PIDG started the same way a lot of modern hustle do — with a gig.
From $5 Fiverr videos to the chaos of meme coins and day-trading Discords, I chased the promise of freedom until I realized
I was already playing the game.
That’s why I created PIDG. To play with the absurdity we’re all living through.
Because if money is a meme and the system is a game, maybe the first step is learning to see it that way.
