PIDG Deploys Drone Patrols — Community Engagement Ambassadors

PIDG's newly launched Community Engagement Ambassador program — a network of 2,400 autonomous drones equipped with speakers, cameras, and "wellness assessment capabilities" — began operations in four zones Tuesday. Ambassadors are programmed to offer greetings, local weather updates, and, upon detecting "elevated ambient tension," a series of questions about residents' financial wellbeing. Participation is described as voluntary. The drones will be present regardless.
