PIDG Unveils World's First Live Competitive PIDGY Coin Trading Tournament

PIDG announced Tuesday the inaugural Live Competitive PIDGY Coin Trading Tournament, a sanctioned two-day event in which participants compete in real-time PIDGY coin trading under observed, binding market conditions. It is the first tournament of its kind and, organizers note, the first of many.

The event will be held at the PIDG Economic Zone Event Centre. Competitors will trade from a purpose-built competition floor featuring 64 individual stations, dual-monitor setups, and live market feeds updated in real time by the PIDG Governance Authority. A broadcast team will cover the event across both days, with full commentary, player profiles, and post-round analysis. Spectator tickets are available in three tiers. The top tier includes access to the broadcast booth observation deck.

The field will be capped at 64 competitors, seeded by qualifying round performance. Qualification opens next month and is open to any registered PIDG player with a minimum holding of 500 PIDGY coins. The top 64 qualifiers advance. The bracket is single elimination. Rounds are timed.
